Healing is awareness.
There’s no need to go through the motions and hit a “rock bottom” (again and again). Suffering is optional. A period of stillness is valuable but it doesn’t have to lead to feeling stuck.
Awareness is a choice.
If a tap on the shoulder is enough to “awaken” us, a slap in the face, a blow in the head, or a total life meltdown becomes unnecessary, not inevitable.
