A Fork in the Road

On one hand, all options are equally good, because they all lead us toward the light. They all pave the way for further growth. On the other hand, there is only one “genuine” option “at a time”, the rest is just background noise. It’s usually only a matter of choosing between the old and the new. When we reach a fork in the road, so to speak, we find ourselves not in the middle of an intersection, but in front of a bridge.

Arrows may be pointing at different directions. Passersby may lead us toward different routes. Our internal compass, though, is always already facing its true north. We just have to go deep within, uncluttering our mind and heart, to align with it.

If there’s still a tug-of-war inside of you, it means you haven’t gone deep enough yet. Don’t give up and retreat. Go deeper.

      1. In my case… a bridge between the past and moving forward into a different kind of experience. That… feeling the grief… helps to release the past and all the stories that are there. So it’s like crossing a bridge. 🙂

      2. Ohhh…I think this is what I’ve been missing…feeling the grief as a way to release, like something percolating underneath you. I couldn’t define what it is. Thank you for sharing. ❤
